“Fire” by Judy Sorum Brown.
Fire
What makes a fire burn
is space between the logs,
a breathing space.
Too much of a good thing,
too many logs
packed in too tight
can douse the flames
almost as surely
as a pail of water would.
So building fires
requires attention
to the spaces in between,
as much as the wood.
When we are able to build
open spaces
in the same way
we have learned
to pile on logs,
then we can see how
it is fuel, and absence of fuel
together, that make fire possible.
Then we can watch the fire leap and play,
burn down and then flame up
in unexpected ways.
We only need to lay a log
lightly from time to time.
A fire
grows
simply because the space is there,
with openings
in which the flame
that knows just how it wants to burn
can find its way.
Well, our car didn’t escape unscathed this past winter. Our car bumper took on a snow bank in our driveway and lost. The good news is I found a repair place that fixed it at 10x less than Toyota quoted me. I recommend giving Rich a call at P.D.R. in Prospect Check out these before and after photos!
Today is Revionics last day at The Grove. Becky and I started coming to Ken’s Story Lab sessions starting in October of 2010.
We started moving our stuff over to the Grove in January of 2011 and had our first day co-working with the whole team on Feburary 3, 2011
When we started working we were jammed into a room that was so small, we had to literally all move if one person needed to get out to go to the bathroom. 🙂

But we were so honored to have a room named after us and felt supported and part of the Grove coworking family.

Over the past 2 years we have seen the Grove grow, expand and evolve. Revionics is moving around the corner to a larger office at 55 Church Street. We are graduating from the Grove but look back fondly on our time together.
Thanks to all you Grovers!
There are some great pictures of our time over the past years

Only a few things wear the mark of the eternal;
the giving we have invested in others,
the love we have expressed in deeds,
the kindness we have shown, the work
we have done because we loved it,
the light we have shown that others may not stumble,
the evil we turned into good because we saw
that none of us lives apart,
but all are members one of another.

We had a blast at Comiconn yesterday. What a great crowd. There were SOOOO many people dressed in costumes. Everyone was so nice stopping to take pictures with each other and just having fun. Here are a few pictures from the day. I know we’ll be back next year!
